RWC has always excelled at identifying and managing the project schedule early to guarantee on-time or early project delivery. Each of our project managers and superintendents are well versed in our scheduling software and strive to accomplish the goals set forth in each schedule. We identify a milestone schedule early in the preconstruction phase and use that as a measuring stick for tracking progress throughout the project. We create an extremely detailed master schedule once the milestones have been identified and utilize that schedule to track progress and derive the weekly three-week schedules. Our master schedules also contain a submittal schedule for all project submittals that are tied to the activities requiring that material with the lead time for delivery built in so we can ensure all materials are on site when they are needed. Our three-week schedules are updated weekly and used to communicate goals with subcontractors during weekly meetings. The master schedule is routinely updated to keep the information current and track implications of changes to activities within the master schedule. We strongly feel that scheduling is the key to on-time, under budget project delivery.
