Scott Umhoefer

President
Scott was born and raised in North Mankato, MN, "which was and is a great place to grow up in," he states. He and his wife Kim have been married since 1979. They have three sons and two grandchildren. Two of their sons work for RWC. Scott enjoyed being a volunteer fireman with the City of North Mankato for 21 years. He's been in the construction industry for 30 years, starting with RWC in April 1998 as Project Manager. In 2004 he became President and co-owner. "Working for this company has been very rewarding. I've had the honor to work with so many talented coworkers, trades people, designers, and owners. I have many interests and hobbies including woodworking, playing the guitar, spending time outdoors, and staying at our cabin. Life is never boring!"

Jeremy Hatlevig

Vice-President of Operations
Jeremy was born and raised in Winona, MN, by parents Don and Barb Hatlevig, and he has two older sisters, Heidi and Amy. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1999. Jeremy moved to Mankato in 1999 to attend Mankato State University where he studied Construction Management at MSU and Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management in 2003. In May of 2003, Jeremy started an internship at R.W. Carlstrom and accepted a full-time position as a project manager soon after. In 2011 he became Vice-President of Operations. Married to his wife Kelsie since in 2004, they have four children including three boys-Dylan, Jackson, and Cameron, and one girl-Avery. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports with his children, running a commercial lawn care business on the side, collecting John Deere two-cylinder tractors, woodworking, and watching the Minnesota Vikings.

Danny Umhoefer

Project Manager / Estimator
Danny has been with RW Carlstrom full-time since 2007 as a Project Manager and Estimator. He works on building relationships with all different kinds of owners and stakeholders and helping them with all of their construction needs from the conceptual stages of a project to the completion of each project. Some of the things he enjoys most about the company is RWC's commitment to integrity, honesty, quality craftsmanship, and timely completion of the projects undertaken. Danny's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Business Management from Augsburg College and a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Danny grew up in North Mankato and currently lives there with his wife Ashley. In his free time he enjoys coaching youth hockey for MAHA, playing recreational sports (hockey, softball, and volleyball), and spending time with family and friends.

Eric Baarts

Estimator / Project Manager
Eric was hired in 2005 as a Project Manager/Estimator. After a brief absence, he rejoined our company in 2016. He is valued by our firm for his meticulous approach to projects, whether they be small remodels or complex additions.

Dan Thompson

Project Manager
Dan is a lifelong resident of the Mankato area. He graduated from Nicollet High School and has a degree from MSU-Mankato in Construction Management. Since 2007, Dan has worked in Educational facilities on a vast array of construction projects. Dan and his wife, Jessica, live in rural Courtland with their two daughters, Avary & Arrow. They enjoy spending time on the lake fishing in a boat or ice fishing. Dan also enjoys duck hunting when he finds time.

Keith Haff

Project Manager
Keith has lived in the Mankato area for the last 30 plus years and was previously employed with I & S Engineering and Paulsen Architects. His responsibilities at RW Carlstrom are to provide simple plans for pricing purposes as well as detailing for structural fabrication. Keith is also a Project Manager involved with estimating, takeoff, scheduling, and helping with the Safety Committee.

Bob Umhoefer

Equipment Manager
Bob has been with RWC since 2005, starting as a carpenter, moving into a safety position, and most recently as Equipment Manager. With Bob's experience in the field, the transition to overseeing the equipment safety of our sites has been a natural fit.

Tyler Sladek

Project Manager/Estimator
Tyler is a lifelong resident of the Southern MN area growing up in Le Center. He graduated from Minnesota State University- Mankato in Spring 2023. He Majored in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. He helps in estimation/proposals and scheduling/coordination phases of projects. Tyler is also involved with Bid Solicitation for various projects to maintain a consistent flow without interruption. In his free time he enjoys working on home renovations, hunting, fishing, and athletic activity involvement.

Rachel Dent

Business Manager
Rachel has been with RWC since 2001 starting out as a Marketing/Project Coordinator and then moving through the roles of Project Assistant, Administrative Assistant, and now Business Manager since 2012. She previously worked for a concrete contractor and an electric motor shop. Rachel currently lives in St. Peter with her husband and kids and enjoys anything outdoorsy- hiking, camping, biking, and rollerblading.

Stacey Williams

Human Resources / Payroll / Safety Director
Stacey is a lifelong resident of the Southern Minnesota area with a background in real estate, sales, marketing, business ownership & administration. She is has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources & Leadership Management and an Associate's degree in Open Studies. Stacey is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She joined RWC in November 2017 to fulfill the role of Human Resources and has grown into the Safety Director & payroll position as well. She and her husband have three children and two grandsons and she enjoys traveling.

Holly Marie

Accounts Payable/Reception
Holly joined us in March 2022 and heads up the Accounts Payable Department. Holly lives in Madison Lake and has two grown children and a dog named Buster. She is a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor and has a Legal Assistant Diploma and an Accounting Diploma. She has experience working in the insurance, financial services, technology, and non-profit industries. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, crafting, boating, summertime fishing, and traveling.

Elisabeth Wolle

Project Assistant
Elisabeth attended South Central College in North Mankato her Senior year in high school and graduated with a diploma in Architectural Drafting and Design. She then completed her degree with an AAS in Construction Technology from Iowa Lakes Community College in May 2022. Elisabeth currently lives near Butterfield with her husband Noah. She enjoys playing with her two dogs- Dozer & Joseph, woodworking, crafting, being outside and roasting smores.
Brent started with RWC as a laborer and apprentice operator eventually running equipment full-time and becoming a member of the local 49ers. He then joined the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). Brent currently runs the day-to-day operations of the warehouse division which includes maintaining and delivery of all trailers and equipment to various jobs, equipment purchasing, and crane rentals. He is also a Safety Committee member. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the water in the boat or sitting in a fish house on the ice, fishing for whatever is biting. He also likes chasing pheasants in a field with his dogs and building various projects at home in the shop!

Chad Amundson

Superintendent
Chad has been with RWC since 1994 and has a 2-year degree in Carpentry and Cabinet Making from South Central Technical College. From the time the first shovel goes in the ground to the time when the keys are handed over to the owner, he operates the job site and supervises the subcontractors. Chad works to keep an efficient and clean job site working with the owners, architects, engineers, and project managers to get the job to the finish line! He has a wife and two daughters and enjoys skiing, camping, grilling, and home brewing.

Timothy Clabo

Superintendent
Born in Hutchinson, Tim is Minnesotan through and through. "After enduring the hot summers, winter couldn't come soon enough," he says. "Then once winter hits, I can't wait for summer." Tim spends most of his free time camping, boating, activities with family, or playing in the shop. He has been with RWC since October 2004 and a Superintendent since 2013. He spends most of his work days at Kraft Foods in New Ulm with a few other jobs in between. Tim takes great pride in the completion of every project and looks forward to the excitement of the next.

Tim Domeier

Superintendent
Tim has been involved in the construction industry for his entire working career and has been a Construction Manager/Superintendent with RWC since 2008. Tim has received education and training in OSHA and safety classes, supervisory programs, and various construction-related courses.

Burton Flitter

Superintendent
Burton is a lifelong member of Minnesota. He has been a member of the Carpenter's Union since 1993 supervising jobs in various towns in Minnesota. Burton enjoys motorcycling, fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He is married to Jo-ell and has a daughter. Burton's priority on all jobs is to complete in a timely manner with 100% customer satisfaction.

Keith Furst

Superintendent
Keith is a lifelong resident of Mankato, married and has two children attending college. He graduated from Mankato West High School and South Central College, Faribault, in the Carpentry and Cabinetry program. Keith started his career in the field in 1987 as a carpenter, working in commercial carpentry. He joined RWC in 2003 and has been primarily located in healthcare facilities since 2006 coordinating and supervising multiple projects.

Tim Krohn

Superintendent
Born in Gibbon, MN, Tim now lives near Winthrop with his wife, Shelly. Tim is a graduate of Mankato State University and started with RWC in 2012. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and many outdoor activities. He enjoys spending time with his daughter and grandson.

Kirby Loewen

Superintendent
Kirby graduated from Butterfield High School. After high school, he went on to study carpentry at Southwestern Technical College in Jackson, MN. He is currently a job superintendent at RW Carlstrom where he has worked since 1995. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and his daughter, Hannah.

Keith Pankratz

Superintendent
Keith is a 1993 graduate of Butterfield-Odin High School. He also attended South Central College, Mankato, where he was enrolled in the machine tool careers program. Metal machining and fabrication is something he has always enjoyed and still does in his spare time. In July of 2000, Keith decided to go into commercial construction as a carpenter. He has been part of a wide variety of building and remodeling projects including hospitals, schools, churches, nursing homes, retail business buildings, and manufacturing plants. He joined the RWC team in December 2015.

Matt Walker

Superintendent
Matt was born and raised in Faribault where he attended South Central College and received his Carpentry and Cabinet Making 2 year certificate. He now resides in Owatonna with his family. Matt has worked in all areas of commercial construction since 2005. As a Superintendent with RWC since 2014, he oversees the project throughout all phases of work including managing the schedule, ordering materials, working through change orders, and other tasks to ensure the project meets the needs of the customer.
